So a bit on an unscheduled post but I couldn't resist!!! I was a little naughty today and went on the hunt for some new matt nude eyeshadows and came back with............wait for it................. nail polish (no shock here as you have clearly seen the title of this post and can see the photos haha)!!!! Not entirely sure that was part of the plan, but hey ho....and no eye shadows in sight on the way home, whoops!! All in all I brought 4 new nail polishes, which are all slightly similar, but they were all on offer (that makes it better I think, right?). Anyway so I was just sat here and decided to use one of them, it took me ages to decide which one but eventually (with my eyes closed) I picked one up and it was the 'Models Own' Mystic Mauve. First impression....STUNNING!!!!

I am going through a major shimmer phase at the moment, which I can honestly say I don't usually go for!! Something has come over me since Christmas and I am well and truly in the middle of this shimmer phase!! This colour is soooo lovely. I have 2 coats on in this picture but to be honest it only needed one. I'm a little OCD about my nail polish and have to do at least 2 coats, even when it only needs 1 (WHY?!!!!). Anyway what do you think?? Here are some better photos:

You can see some of the pinky/ purpleness in this shot, but its even better in person.

As I have said under the photos, it has pink/ purple undertones and looks different in different lighting!! I got this for £5 from boots!! What do you think!?
