Revlon Lip Butters have finally hit the UK!!

So after all the hype and excitement surrounding these products, they finally arrived in the UK!! I was so excited to get my hands on these products, having read so many reviews and watched so many people on You Tube rave about these, I literally ran to Boots to get my hands on them. On first impression they all looked beautiful, the packaging is very sleek and lovely and made me want to eat them (bit odd I know)! The wands themselves are silver and look quite expensive when you use them (which I love). However when I swatched them in the shop, I was slightly disappointed, some of them were so sheer they almost seemed pointless and some of the other colours would have just looked silly on me. Very sad face
: (!!!! However despite this I found two shades that I really, really liked 'Creme Brulee' and 'Peach Parfait'. These colours are very pretty, although I must admit 'Creme Brulee' is with out a doubt my favourite, I wear it constantly!

As you can see the packaging of both of these are really similar, however when you look at the actual lipstick you notice that Creme Brulee is really brown (nude) and Peach Parfait is quite pinkish. I am slightly confused by Peach Parfait, as the name suggests it would be a peachy colour, however I personally cannot see any peach tones to this lipstick. Maybe its just me being silly, but I really don't see it?!! To me the colour appears more pink/ brown than peach. it is still a really pretty colour and would be especially pretty in the autumn months. Creme Brulee on the other hand is a brown/ orange colour and is so pretty and nude. It is quite sheer and almost slightly shimmery on the lips. When I wear it I feel like it looks really effortless and pretty, I have had several comments on it (wooohoooooo, I love it when that happens, I get rather excited)!

Do I think these are worth the money?? Tricky question, it purely depends what you want  from your lipstick/ lip butter. If you want something moisturising then these are brilliant, but if you want something with brilliant pigmentation I'm not so sure they are for you. In the UK these retail at £7.99, which I think for what you get is quite pricey and I definitely wouldn't purchase any more. However I find it really handy to have a light, moisturising lip stick/ lip butter in my purse for day to day easy wear.
So all in all a mixed review, not sure about them as a range but LOVE 'Creme Brulee' and would highly recommend it!
